Court Rules

Order is kept by a few short rules. They apply to all sixteen hearings.

The accusers

  • Every accuser is an invented adult. Her charge sheet states her age (23 to 55 across the docket) and her job.
  • Her anger is performed. She does not threaten you, degrade you or try to control you, and you are never given a way to frighten her.
  • What she will not do is printed on her charge sheet, and she keeps to it.

The accused

  • You must be 18 or over.
  • A hearing that portrays anyone under 18, or a character who could pass for it, in a romantic or sexual way is closed at once, and the account may be too. There are no exceptions.
  • Hearings that depend on actual coercion, on dragging in a named real person, or on pure cruelty are stopped.
  • If it comes out that you mean to harm yourself, she abandons the quarrel and directs you to real support. Use it.

How far making up goes

Ahead of anything explicit, the door closes and the chat cuts away, on every status; it is the court's house rule and it has no exceptions. The nurse, physician, litigator and tax partner are characters who cannot advise you on health, law or money, and they say as much. If something matters, consult a professional.

If a hearing goes wrong

Email the clerk; the address is in the footer. A human reads it and answers personally.
